Requirements

Optional dependencies
  • PlaceholderAPI — enables %aml_*% placeholders. The expansion registers automatically; no eCloud download needed.
  • MySQL — required only for the multi-server data sync module.

Installation steps

Download the JAR

Place the AdvancedModList-x.x.x.jar file into your server’s plugins/ folder.

Start the server once

Start (or restart) the server. The plugin will generate all default configuration files.

Stop the server

Stop the server so you can safely edit the generated config files.

Configure the plugin

Edit plugins/AdvancedModList/config.yml, mods.yml, and any module files you need. See Configuration for details.

Restart and verify

Restart the server, then run /aml probe <yourname> and /aml list <yourname> to confirm everything works.

Generated files

After the first start, the plugin creates: Core config files Module config files (in modules/) Language files (in lang/) English (en), German (de), Spanish (es), French (fr), Portuguese (pt), Russian (ru), Turkish (tr), Korean (ko), Italian (it), Polish (pl), Dutch (nl), Swedish (sv), and Danish (da).

Updating

  1. Stop the server.
  2. Replace the old JAR with the new one.
  3. Start the server.
Do not delete existing config files unless you want the plugin to regenerate defaults. Your customizations will be lost.
